What type of batteries are compatible with this product? Are they included?

This product requires 3 AA batteries (not included), which must be inserted into the battery compartment on the underside of the turtle by opening the battery compartment door using a screwdriver.

Can I leave the nightlight projection on all night?

To preserve the batteries and promote sound sleep, the nightlight automatically switches off after 45 minutes.

Can the bulbs in the Twilight Turtle™ be replaced?

The bulbs are not replaceable. The Twilight Turtle™ uses long-life LED's. They are designed to function for the life of the product.

Why does my nightlight projection fade or some colors no longer work?

This is often due to weak batteries; simply replace them to return to full brightness.

Wonderful item.

This was bought as a gift for an expecting parent. My daughter has had the original green turtle for the past 12 years. She hasn't used it much in the past 2 or 3 years but has always kept it in the open in her bedroom. I can tell it brings her happy and comforting memories.

Our turtle has stood up very well for being as old as it is. Quality build, in fact, this is my go to gift for expecting parents. On the underside you'll find a battery compartment that has a screw securing the cover so you wont have to worry about yong children being able to get the batteries; this is all covered by a flap that velcro down. The shell is pretty impact resistant, ours have been hit hard. It's great on battery consumption with its auto off feature. Ours had three different colors; green,blue and amber that could be used one by one or cycling all three.

My daughter and I had fun laying under the projection looking at all the stars and spotting the moon.
